On March 4, 2013, the artist and a drag queen named Pearl became friends. Together they selected a faux fur coat and a lace trimmed satin dressing gown from among Pearl’s wardrobe that were hung in the Mary & Leigh Block Museum’s coat closet for the duration of Clownflâneur.
